In recent days, the world is concerned and anxious about the epidemic of acute respiratory infections caused by the new strain of Corona virus (nCoV), the World Health Organization (WHO) has officially declared a state of emergency in the world because of this epidemic. In Viet Nam, the Prime Minister has decided on many actions to prevent and combat epidemics, protect the health and lives of people.
Health organizations recommend, wearing masks does not help prevent and combat diseases 100% but is the most basic and simplest method to contribute to limiting the spread of infectious diseases, especially influenza from corona virus. However, in many localities, including Long An masks are becoming scarce, high prices due to increased purchasing power, suppliers have not met all the demand.
People received masks from the organizers.
Sympathetic to this concern, Bamboo Capital Group's Board of Directors launched the program "Bamboo Capital join hands for public health". Accordingly, the Organizing Committee of the program gives free masks to people in public places in Long An and Vinh Long provinces.
Accordingly, in Long An, the program was implemented in 3 locations: An Thanh Commune People's Committee, Ben Luc district; People's Committee of Ho Chi Minh Commune, Duc Hoa district and Thanh Hoa District People's Committee. Each point has 3,500 masks that are given free of charge to residents, contributing to preventing the infection of acute respiratory infections caused by the new strain of the Corona virus.
